Post COVID guidelines.
Preamble
Following the easing of lockdown measures, the society is now in a position whereby it can prepare to reopen for meetings. To this end the following procedures must be followed to ensure that the risk of spreading COVID 19 is limited, and meetings remain safe. Reopening will be line with most recent government guidance which is subject to ongoing review. These guidelines are neither final nor definite; they can/will be altered, as necessary.
Before arrival
- It is desired that those members have been fully vaccinated. Please take a lateral flow test (LFT) the evening before/morning of attending. LFTs can be obtained free from pharmacies or online.
- Members who are feeling unwell/showing COVID symptoms must stay away.
- Attendance will need to be recorded and held by the secretary for Track and Trace.
At the clubhouse
- There will be an NHS track and trace barcode for members to scan via the COVID app on arrival. A paper-based log will also be provided for members without the app. Details will be kept by the secretary for 28 days.
- To maintain good ventilation, both doors must be kept open with all fans inside on. The back gate must be unlocked, as an emergency exit- remember to lock when leaving!
- Members must wear a face covering unless medically exempt.
- Please wash hands on entry. Sanitised will be provided by doors at both ends. There will also be sanitiser at the kettle area. Wipes will also be provided for more substantial cleaning
- Access to the library will be on a one in, one out basis
- If members wish to make teas/coffees, own cup must be used and taken home at end of night.
- To maintain a level of physical distancing, please avoid crowding in main walkway.
- Appropriate cleaning to be used when sharing tools and materials etc.
